Mark Workshop Skövde is a department within the Army Staff with about 200 employees. We perform maintenance on the Armed Forces' ground equipment and provide technical system support. This includes maintenance in the form of inspections, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scrapping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and material investigation.

Currently, there are 4 people working in the department, one of whom is a team coordinator. You will report to the section manager.

Main Responsibilities

As a measuring machine technician, you will perform measurements of our materials using a measuring machine of the brand Coord 3. This is a new direction for the position, and you will therefore be involved in the startup of the measuring machine. There will also be great opportunities to help shape work methods, programming, and more.

Examples of other tasks included:

• Calibration of measuring instruments
• 3D Scanning

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Two or three-year technical high school education or equivalent as assessed by the employer
• Experience working as a measuring machine technician
• You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English
• B driver's license
• Knowledge of Office.

You are a team player who works just as well independently as in a group. As a measuring machine technician, you are persistent and responsible. Since the work largely involves collaborating with customers and colleagues both internally and externally, it is important that you are service-oriented and have good collaboration skills. You need to have a structured way of working while being flexible and able to adapt in a changing environment. You are meticulous with a focus on high quality throughout the work process.

DESIRABLE

• Knowledge of SAP
• Experience with the measuring machine Coord 3 Universal and the control system Metrologic
• Training in measurement technology

Other

Employment type: permanent position starting with a 6-month probationary period. Employment rate: full-time, daytime - shift work may be applied. Work location: Skövde. Start date: as soon as possible after agreement.

The job also requires travel and service, both domestically and internationally. The position is a civilian position.
